What may have seemed like an ordinary Chicago
brown line L-stop to many, became a very special spot for Laurie and
Tom a few years ago. They began the night as friends, but Tom kept
trying to work up the nerve and let Laurie know that he thought of
her as way more. The night was nearing an end as he walked the girl
of his dreams to the Southport L-stop. It was now or never and Tom
finally leaned in for a kiss beginning a romance that would celebrate
a very special milestone a few weeks ago.
Tom and Laurie were married in a
gorgeous, newly remodeled, St. Teresa Avila church surrounded by
friends and family that came from all over the country. Both having
many nieces and nephews, they included them in the entire day making
the whole event even more fun and lighthearted. Props to Kirstin
Karklin of Lola Event Productions for thinking of every little detail
of the day including hiring an army of babysitters for the little
ones!
Many thanks to the following magicians
