She loved spotting the tallest guy in
the room and striking up a conversation. He would find the prettiest
girl in the room, make sure he'd position himself directly behind her
at the bar, so when she grabbed her drink and turned around, she'd
be bound to run into him and they'd have a not so random, random
interaction (genius by the way Derek!) Who would have thought that
in what started out as an innocent dating strategy, would lead to a
truly serendipitous love story.
A few weeks ago I got to spend a truly
magical afternoon with Alexandra & Derek at Montrose Harbor.
Not only did I get to witness how amazing these two are together, but
I also got to share their love for the open water on their stunning
boat. It's easy to see what Derek sees in Alexandra –
she's not just a pretty face, but a genuine, warm soul that truly
shares his love for all things nautical. Between the sweet story of
how they met and their easy going demeanor, these two truly charmed
me - I can't wait for the wedding at Columbia Yacht Club this August!
